Life of Maple Syrup
This blog tells the story of Maple Syrup Saint Hubert, our Basset Hound. She was born on June 28, 2007 in Newalla, Oklahoma, near Oklahoma City. She is an energetic and capricious dog, generally disobedient unless offered a reward of food, eminently lovable when sleepy, potty trained to perfection but stubbornly nippy, ever hungry and fond of carrion flesh (from birds and squirrels to toads and geckos), endless in her pursuit of attention but refusing to be smothered, and happiest when sniffing on an imaginary trail. In short she is a basset hound. We love her. We hope you will too.

We love our Maple granddog. Her antics are full of memorable and lively conversation. It is so fun to watch her adventures online! P and J
